SimpleGym's Story...
SimpleGym was created by a BJJ black belt, a martial arts purple belt, and a mediocre CrossFit devotee. The concept started when one of our founders started a gym, and realized that the existing gym management software platforms were expensive, complicated, and required weeks of training and onboarding to be able to use. So, we built SimpleGym to be a simple solution for gym owners that want an affordable and simple way to manage their gym, so they can focus on teaching and growing their gym.
SimpleGym is headquartered in Seattle, Washington with a remote (and growing) team around the world. We’re working hard everyday to support gym owners and make SimpleGym better. You can follow our on-going progress via our Changelog.
SimpleGym's Team

Rich
Operations
Rich is a co-founder of SimpleGym. He’s the head of operations and marketing with a passion for creating good user experiences. Rich enjoys Notre Dame football, breakfast at diners, CrossFit, and boating around the Puget Sound. He drinks way too much coffee, but hey, it’s Seattle.

Brian
Technology
Brian is a co-founder of SimpleGym. He’s the head of technology, with a focus on creating simple UI that’s accessible to everyone. Brian is a BJJ black belt, likes exercise, and software. He figures, “Well I love software, and BJJ, so why not combine the two and ruin the fun in both?”

Aleksey
Engineering

Andy
Strategy
Andy is the chief strategist at SimpleGym. As a BJJ gym owner, Andy provides the ‘on the ground’ feedback about new features, and marketing that help shape SimpleGym. Andy is a BJJ purple belt, who owns, teaches, and manages at his BJJ gym. He’s heavy into classic comic books and all things LOTR (don’t ask).
